It is getting hot. Summer is here  a bit earlier this year. We are already seeing temperatures above  40C (104F) and that is “HOT!” in November. We don’t normally see these temperatures until February and so the pool has been our favourite way to cool down. We have delayed dinner a bit to enjoy a swim just as the sun goes down. On this day, I took along my daughters’ under water camera. She got it last year and I am amazed at the quality of the images. I asked if I could play with her camera and it was so much fun. We had such a ball playing and messing around. And because I wasn’t trying to be a photographer, just a Mum with a camera, I felt a joy. A joy that has been missing from my photography for a while. It was a beautiful reminder why I picked up the camera and why I want to document my family’s story.

I always love photos in pools, because I am a terrible swimmer! These are just lovely. You live in a beautiful area. These kids look so at home in the water. The third from the bottom is so neat!

So much fun! I've wanted to try underwater photography for a while now, & this just makes me itch for it even more. Well done!
