Telling a Story: Eli at 3 weeks

Dear friends of our family celebrated the arrival of their third child in December, and while we were on holidays we had the pleasure of meeting him. He was so new and small, and I enjoyed many “Auntie” cuddles.

So I asked if I could capture him, and we planned an afternoon session with afternoon tea and play time for our children. We relaxed and enjoyed each other’s company in the gorgeous afternoon sun. 

We used a pure white blanket as the background. It was soft and creamy, just perfect for a baby. I love the simplicity of these shots. They are celebrating this boy and all that he was at this point. His eyes, ears, toes, fingers and all the pieces that make up this child. I am sure he has grown and changed since these photos, but this is Eli at 3 weeks. Welcome to the world sweet prince!
